First spend of the month today and it was £12.79 brought lots of fruit - bananas, tomatoes, kiwi's, yellow plums, grapes, chicken, bread and yoghurt. Did put 4 pommegranates in the trolley but half way round thought about them and took them out so saved a £1
Made a chilli for tea and half way through realised I had forgot the main ingredient - CHILLI POWDER :rotfl: - In the end it was lovely though so everything was ok.
Think we have everything for tomorrow's meals already so hopefully a NSD.MARCH £62.38/2500 -
Had taste the difference pies from Mr S tonight (on special offer). OH's was ok but mine- feta and butternut squash or something- was horrid. The dog got a good dinner, but won't be buying them again!
Made my list for the big shop on Fri already and don't actually need too much so hoping to do it for £40ish. Watch this space!Mortgage£148,725 Student loan£13,050 HSBC loan£12,221

#hi,
Lidlls,
I only use them for certain offers etc, the Liddl website is good at letting you know what is on offer at your one,as they vary so much in different areas. Also they sell out of things quite quick. They are naughty the way they label the selves you really have to double check the item u are getting, when I got my 39p wraps they were on the bottom shelf , above them were the dearer ones so really have to look at which make the price is refering to.

Hmm think I may just try this then, we usually have 50:50 or Best of Both so it sounds like it might be just the thing we need :j0 -
That sounds great, and that was without vinegar?
10kg of chapatti flour is £3/£4 at Tesco until Nov 7th so I will order some in my next big shop instead of getting approvedfoods bread mix :j
I'm going to add it onto next weeks delivery, I find that even with the delivery charge doing my shop online and seeing the total before I get to the checkout helps to keep me on the straight and narrow.0 -

I wish I could find them for that price.
I always find Leeks are extremely expensive, regardless of the time of year it seems, and regardless of where you buy them from.
I bought one yesterday from Te$co to put in my Shepherdess Pie tomorrow, and it cost me 47p....for just the one!
I've tried A$da, Te$co, M&S (in desperation) and my local F&V Shop, and they always cost an arm and a leg, and when they are on offer in £idl, it's always a week when I'm not needing any.
I don't have a local market and there is nowhere else within walking distance that I can try. To be fair, I only use them twice a month, but it's still a lot of money for 1 damned leek!Aug11 £193.29/£240
