    Hi All,

Welcome all newbies joining us. Well done on some great first spends of the month too.

Just a quick update, OH discovered the last of our HG onions had gone off last night so had to pop to the corner shop to get some more and he got mushrooms and another bottle of milk as GD1 has developed quite a thirst. So another couple of quid added to sig. A NSD today though. :T

Got to go as friends coming round for a card night tonight which we haven't done for ages. Actually, all summer. Think its a good thing to do on a cold autumn/winter evening. Good friends, couple of drinks and a bit of friendly competition! :D

Have a great weekend everyone and good luck for the month (forgot to say that on the last post :o).

    Take care,
    Spigs

Another £13.35 worth of spending for us today - £10.45 at Mr T and the rest at our local greengrocer's. We're not exactly off to a flying start this month and we still haven't bought everything off our list!
Must get organised and rejoin grocery challenge!
  • Hi all,
I've spent £62.06 so far, I was going to do a big shop earlier when i took mum to Mr. A, but I forgot my list, so I didn't want to just fill a trolley with stuff i maybe don't need. I might go back to Mr. A later, OH is going out for a night cycle ride with another (idiot) I mean friend, so I can have a leisurely evening. I might also go and sort the freezers out, so I can see exactly what I've got - haven't been doing so well keeping my stocklist up to date. I've got an essay to write, for college, but I seem to be procrastinating instead - hey ho, tomorrows another day!

Have a good week everyone x

spent roughly £50 this week, so that leaves £150 for the next 3 weeks, I'm in front with bread and milk, potatoes and have some meals in that are planned for next week. Instead of being lazy and just shopping at MR A's I'm gonna go to lidl farmfoods and aldi this week, I have a £2.50 off a £25 spend for ff.

My total is now up to £49.94.

Last night hubby spent £18.21 in Tescos (inc two bottles of wine - still not sure whether to have a separate "entertainment" budget for this kinda thing?) Today I spent £5 at the local farmers market including a chicken pie which we had for lunch and was delicious, apply juice and chocolates that erm managed to sneak their way in too:D

Hoping not to spend too much next week as have well stocked cupboards, plenty in the fridge and freezer.

7 pages already, well it's been a while but I'm back. Need to pull the spending in. 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 boys who now eat as adults. Have allocated pet stuff seperate now as the lizard collection increased. We're trying to loose weight which isn't quite going to plan so maybe meal planning better etc, less take aways as budget includes those will help us.

I'll be in for £350 so I need to take out £36 spent today with it being the 2nd. I actually have no idea how much I have been spending lately, how bad is that?
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

    £9.65 spent since yesterday.

I stocked up on wraps in Lidl yesterday as they have packs of 6 on offer for 39p. I bought 4 packets for me and 2 for my sister (not included in my total).
I also nipped in there again today and got 6 packs of crisps for 75p as wanted something to eat. The rest will be for lunches next week.

I've just got back from Tesco where I didn't get many of the bargains I went hunting for, but did spend £7.34 on bread, cheese, tomato puree, sweet and sour sauce, some fajita mix and a packet of cheese sauce (I usually make it, but I want to make some cauliflower cheese to freeze, so thought i'd give a packet a go for once...hopefully it's not vile!). I also for some facial wipes and wash.

    Hello everyone :)

Hope you are all well - not had chance to read through but hugs if you need them.

First spend of the month today - £44.87 at Mr M which included Duracell batteries that my OH snook (Sp?) in that cost £3.49!!!! and 4 packs of reduced free range chicken - 12 breasts in total that cost just under £10. I only eat free range chicken which is expensive (and therefore rarely purchased!), so when it's reduced or on offer I snap it up!

Have loads in the freezer now so am keeping my fingers crossed I'll have my first on-track month :D
Part time GCer, NSDer, Comper and (Bad)Flylady :o
A big shot is just a little shot that kept shooting ...
