that's good news about ds's leg, Spud!!

The restaurant sounds like the type of place that you'd go back to even if you had to drive for an hour or 2!!

It's lovely Scaredy, and just a 5 minute walk away.

They send us a Christmas card every year, and every time we get it, we wish we were back at the budget we had when we could afford it.

Flat pack always takes far longer than you think...I shall not go to bed till you have reported back Buffy...

Well dinner made and eaten (chicken for me Bunny)....Dishwasher stacked..two babies washed, one in bed, one to go. Still at the same position washing wise.

Good luck with the ebay Suzy, I have sold five out of six items so far...what didn't sell first time round sold second time so I am quite happy with that. My carp is going slowly but surely. Just need to keep listing stuff I guess.

Pooky...well done on the shopping spree....hope you treated yourself...

Spud...well done on going out. Next time just make it you and OH....romantic and all that...xx

Thanks Sammy....just to get it listed is achievement enough. I have a Versace dress to sell but wanted to start with some smaller/cheapish items first so I can see how it works. Once I'm more confident with the selling, I will put the dress on. That particular frog didn't taste too bad after all :)

I agree, I'm just not sure where to find the spare. My income is maybe a third what it was then :o

It's not bad at all Spud - it's lovely that you enjoy the company of your children. The dynamic is just different when it's just the two of you. Knowing you....you'll probably end up talking about the two of them anyway :rotfl:
