Spud - did you enjoy your meal out for your anniversary? I'll bet you did. You have such a lovely family so it must have been fab to all be out together celebrating. Hope DS's finger is better now.

We has a lovely time. It was the first time my 2 had been to a restaurant, how bad is that  DS ignored the waiter when he called him sir, he didnt realise he was talking to him :rotfl:

Anyway, way too much to eat and drink - no looking at prices and choosing the cheapest just for one night only :T

His finger is fine now, the bread cured it ;)

Sounds lovely Spud. The meal, not the finger!

We've had a lazy day followed by another trip to the doctors - another allergic reaction with swollen lips etc! I look like Coco the clown :(

Yep, that was him as well. It's fine now, ta for asking. The scar is fading very well, he's got to be careful to avoid any sun on it, but apart from that he's fine. He still drops his pants to show me whenever i ask about it, so I try not to ask :rotfl:

We've decided to try and go out more often, but do it cheaper obviously.

We chose a fab place for our first meal out. We used to have a take out occasionally from there years ago, and they still remembered us, even remembered what we ordered. It was lovely, such a friendly place where they knew our names.

The guy that used to bring our delivery told DS he remembered him toddling round in his nappy, and told DD he remembered her sneaking downstairs to say hello when he was at the door.

    It was just lovely :T

  • that's good news about ds's leg, Spud!!

The restaurant sounds like the type of place that you'd go back to even if you had to drive for an hour or 2!!
