Housework for me today, the flat looks like a bomb made of books and stationery has hit it!

    Afternoon all

It's proper Sunday afternoon weather here, peeing it down, chilly and dark....there's a roast in the oven smelling yummy which makes the house feel all cosy and snug.

Took DD's shopping and came home £200 lighter. I gave them a basket each in Primarni and told them they could have anything they liked......they went from  to :j in about 10 seconds. Was so lovely to treat them and of course being Primarni they got so much for their money. They're now having a huge trying on session. :T

Suzy - Great news on the Simply Red tickets - I'd love to see them.

Good afternoon been de cluttering the dining room with dh, we decided that until we get paid next week the kitchen cannot be finished, even though i sold a few bits of jewellery this week the money cannot be touched.

I now got loads more craft boxes to de clutter and sort lol.

Had a gammon roast dinner and kitchen has been cleared and tidied, so down stairs is looking lush :)

Just need to sort my bredroom in the morning and theres ironing to do.

Spud - did you enjoy your meal out for your anniversary? I'll bet you did. You have such a lovely family so it must have been fab to all be out together celebrating. Hope DS's finger is better now.

Pooky - that must have been lovely to be able to say to your DDs "choose what you like" :) OH has been wanting to see Simply Red for years, so when I saw the tickets for the final night (with Macy Gray as support....another one of her faves) I really had no choice. Mind you, we're up in the gods in the Upper Tier at the O2 and it states "not good for people with a fear of heights" (which we both have), but it was either that or not going.

I have listed my first 3 things on eBay tonight (go me!!). Nothing really exciting, but it was the challenge of actually getting them on there. Now just need to see whether they sell.

Enjoying a rum and coke now. Nice and warming for this bloomin freezing weather.

    BTW Bun....we're having pork!
YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

really....it's not hard to understand :T
