Happy to report that this is my first AFD of October :j

Not so happy to report that I feel rough as... :(

    Well done.

I used to get ill regularly when I drank a lot.
It's nice not to hurt myself through alcohol consumption.

That's the sickness of alcoholism. We drink when we know we shouldn't. It does us no favours. Its a horrible addiction.

The car was hit end of July. Only just been taken away for repair and they have told me it is a write off. Been driving it around since the accident, bit rattly but ok!

Have a courtesy car for now until I get my cheque and for 7 days after to give me time to buy a new car. Hassle but at least I'm not carless.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    Morning peeps,

long time no see etc..hope everyone's doing well.

I'm doing great these days, loving my new flat, really enjoying my part time cooking job, having a blast with the rowing and my finances are doing ok with my DMP in full flow for 3 months now.

Drinking far less now that I'm feeling more comfortable with my lot in life, so much so that I've actually begun to appreciate booze as a treat rather than a necessity as it used to be.

:hello: Glad to hear that life is treating you well Paolo :D

  • Morning all, ooh and a lovely shiny AF/non-hungover feeling one at that :j

Marru and 365 sending you much love and hugs hope today is a better one for you both.

    HB how you feeling today?

Shaggy :T:T:T massive well done on the 14 days you must be really pleased with how you've done :)

And Graeme I agree drinking when we shouldn't and when we don't even want to is just stupid!! the amount of times I have found myself forcing down wine when I am not even enjoying it is ridiculous :o

Today we are planning to go out somewhere for a nice walk if the weather holds out then this evening will be x factor sans-wine !

Doesn't sound like stopping drinking will cause you to have a heart attack then.....
