Can I join you on the challenge please Pen. I'm still struggling with feeling well so won't be drinking. I'm in 'till the end.
    Trying to keep in budget.

Awww thanks. I have had a new lease of life as I have set myself a target for saving for my summer holidays. (I became debt free last March) I really don't want to waste money on booze at the moment:D

Thought I'd help out Shaggy by putting her AF days in bold as she always seems to forget;) What're you planning for the holiday Shaggy? Are you banking the money you'd have frittered on booze?

Me too please Pen, Monday done although I was tempted.
  • Hi all - this is my first visit so be gentle! Serial wine drinker here - really to cut down. Drinking more than is healthy especially for a woman (half a bottle of wine probably 4-6 nights per week), it costs too much money - I have a credit card to pay off - and it's too many calories!! I would never dream of eating that many calories every night but somehow I'm happy to drink them??!! Anyway I'm hoping to find some support and encouragement here, as well as give some to othes when needed. ITRW people just shrug and say, don't drink it then! It's not that easy though is it?!
:D Skint but happy with my lovely family :D

    Hypnotherapy rocks :j
  • Hi everyone and welcome purpleheather...:wave:you're amongst friends on here...

Already in pj's so no chance of running out to buy wine tonight and none in the house so I'm safe and can confidently say AF for me tonight please Pen and10 for Jan please Shaggy. It's so good to reach double figures, and I can hardly contain my excitement about getting a crazy clapping smiley:j.

I just completed my online food shop and I was very pleasantly suprised at how much cheaper it was without the usual gallon or 2 of wine:o, I replaced it with soda water and ginger ale which cost less ££'s and weighs less lbs so I'm a happy bunny all round.

Hope all's ok with everyone this eve.

    Off to do something productive.

    Wellcome Purpleheather

This is getting easier, dashing straight back home without going to the shop is soooo nice, even nicer than having a drink. So I should be "safe" as long as I keep doing my shopping during the weekend when I am not pooped. Good for the purse as well as it is raking up the NSDs ;)

Declaring 25 please shaggy and another day in the bag please Pen :)
