Morning all..... well- lovely start to the week- (or not
) dentists at 9.00am for half an hours drilling.... having to have a new crown fitted next week. Not only that but it's flipping expensive !! at least I didn't have a fuzzy head
Well done to all sober sundayers- and Shaggy- goodness me- you are doing well !!!
Congrats mackers on the zumba class- know what you mean about a good sports bra... could do with a new one myself !!
Well I'm working from home today- so planning on doing 2 classes tonight at the gym- Body Balance and Pilates.
Only got 2 and a half weeks before sunshiiiiiine so better use it wisely !!

Hello, I've returned again, LOL.
Sorry for the non postings for a few days, but I'm here now!
Am in wonderful spirits as I got good results from last term's assignments which count towards my nursing degree (I am in the 2nd year of 3 year degree).
There were 3 assignments and I had a horrendous time last term, as I was trying to cope with my marriage breakdown and to top it all I got pneumonia and pleuresy which took 3 months for me to recover (luckily it was mild so I was not hospitalised, although I had to go to A&E twice and the GP umpteen times!). I felt officially sh*t, both physically and emotionally.
And I was drinking a LOT - really, a LOT, to cope with it all. Bad strategy I know, but that's what I did, which didn't help.
I got 2 A's and a B+ so I am officially a nerd, LOL. I am very very proud of myself.
Had a bit of a cry when I got my results, as I didn't think I could do it. I was really worried about the results. I didn't even ask for an extension. Get me, LOL!
I dont mean to be so self indulgent, I am just really chuffed.
5 AFD's for me please Shaggy!
Not quite as good as I'd hoped, but I have more AFD's than I've had for months and months, so that's also something to be proud of, even though I can't make my target now.
Hugs everyone,
Caz

Afternoon All,
Well done everyone for achieving a Sober Sunday:T, I really wish I had logged on yesterday because I think I may have gone for it too had I been faced with the challenge....but alas it wasn't to be. This now leaves me with a bit of a problem as I am really determined to get my 15 days AF for January and seeing as I only have 8 so far it seems to me that I will just have to be AF all this week and THE WEEKEND:eek::eek::eek:!!!!!!
Having said this, there are so many of you on here who have achieved so much more that I am going to push myself and go for it.....so I am officially announcing that.........(drum role)
I AM GOING TO BE SOBER FOR THE REST OF THE MONTH.......will probably be logged on round the clock looking for inspiration from anywhere and everywhere.
Lovely to hear news of expectant babies, weight loss, assignments completed, AF targets being achieved left, right and centre etc etc pats on the backs all round.
Climbing up on to the rickety old wagon as I speak....

You are now officially a RCLB (that's Right Clever Little B****r). Well done:T, now to concentrate on getting a good score on the AF front!
I'm back on the wagon tonight, looking for bonus nights on top of my (modest) target. We do pay bonuses here don't we?0
