Count me in for a sober Sunday - no probs there as I have 200 words to go max and then lots of referencing so no booze allowed then an early night to recover!

Plus a NSD, make tea, take dog for a walk, get work stuff sorted out, do some ironing blah blah blah!

Tonight, I'll be finishing the two bottles I opened on Friday and Saturday. Although that's tame by some of your wonderful acheivements, I'm delighted that I'll have cut down my drinking by a third this weekend! Back on the wagon tomorrow although I am planning a single glass with a meal out on Tuesday.

I love that antiques arcade in Hungerford, have to resist the tempation to buy 'stuff' whenever I go there. Where did you eat? When the weather's better you must take Piglet for a ride up the canal on a barge, it's good fun. Hope Piglet (and you) get a better night.

Hi all, glad everyones good..

Yes please Pen- planning on Sun- Thurs this week (although off to a comedy night on Tues so not sure about that... )..... had 3 days of drinking (not loads- but still) and need to get back on the wagon again.
Been to the gym though both days this weekend and have done all cleaning, washing, ironing and food shopping so patting myself on the back for all of that !!

Oh yes, most of our time was spent in the arcade!:rotfl: Mum and Dad used to take me there when I was younger and I used to be fascinated by all the little units. Didn't buy anything yesterday but got lots of ideas of things I would like!

We ate at the Plume Of Feathers across the road. Lovely food!

The ride on the barge sounds a good idea - must do that in the summer.
