    Still on 10 :o

    Nothing wrong with 10 :)
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

one more AF day for me yesterday shaggy.. Not going to hit my original target but I am very happy nonetheless as my alcohol consumption would be way below the govt recommended levels. I could not have said this any other month in the previous 6 years. My drinking habits have changed drastically on the evenings that I do drink i have one or two max (beers)..... I still enjoy the galss as a treat.....

I hope everyones efforts are going well....

    I thought this was interesting

Drop a stone and save over £200 in eight weeks

    http://uk.lifestyle.yahoo.com/food-drink/drop-a-stone-and-save-over-200-in-eight-weeks-blog-24-rachael-anne-hill.html
    3. Save wine for the weekends
Winding down each evening with a glass or two of wine may seem harmless enough but apart from the extra calories (approximately 140 Kcals per glass) and the health dangers associated with regular drinking, alcohol actually increases your appetite which can lead to an even greater calorie intake. The financial cost of relying on a glass of wine to relax can soon mount up too as even a relatively cheap wine consumed at home costs approximately £1.50 per glass.

    Money and calories saved
    £’s saved over 8 weeks*: £1.50 x 5 = 7.50 per week x 8 weeks = £60.00
    Kcals saved over 8 weeks: 140 kcal x 5 = 700 Kcals per week x 8 weeks = 5,600 Kcal* (over 1 and a half pounds!)
(*Based on consuming one glass of wine a night, five nights a week.)

  • Morning all!

Maman - well done on the weightloss!:T Seems SW is working really well for you.

Sparkles - good luck with the assignment - you sound very busy!

Gien - glad to hear you are feeling a bit better. Some horrible bugs around - definately flu I think.

I'm working 4-8pm today so have most of the day to myself :T Just walked piglet to school and then carried on round to the local lake and fed the ducks before heading back home. Been in ten minutes and my legs are only just starting to un-freeze!!!:rotfl:

PLans for today - do a little bit of housework, cook a dinner for tonight, get on the exercise bike and then go to work. feeling shattered already!!:rotfl:

    hey everyone,

Wasn't AF last night had a few (is 5 still counted as a few?? anyway) vodka and cranberries whilst watching the t.v

Im ok with this tho and to be honest it was a nice cozy evening with my husband x

To be fair we needed the vodka to warm us up as the boiler packed in:rotfl: so no hotwater or heating for us till the landlord send someone round

thankgod for fluffy pyjamas, hotwater bottles and totes xxx

    have a good day everyone

Absolutely not! There's been many a month when I've struggled to get to ten. And there's plenty of month left YM, you could even double that score;)

    Morning :hello:

    1 more AFD for me.

    Shaggyx

How come you don't put your scores in bold Shaggy? You're a real dark horse!! Just one to go to your target:T

Interesting article, very MSE. I've always found it easier to be motivated by cash and calories than government health warnings:o

Hope everyone's enjoying Friday, whatever you're up to.:)
