The Giving Up/Cutting Down Alcohol Support Thread - Numero 9!

Yesterday got me up to 17/28, woop woop! Went out to Nando's last night and had one of their platter-y meals, which came with refillable soft drinks, which removed any temptation! Getting normal not to drink though actually... (Shouldn't say that, I might jinx it!!

Hey y'all!
How's everyone's Friday going?
Another AF day for last night please Shaggy and my first Mon-Thurs Challenge complete for me thanks Pen! Whoop!! :j
I'm actually debating whether or not to go AF tonight as well, think I will cross that bridge when I come to it though as going round to friends tonight and there will more than likely be wine.. hmm!
While AF this week, I have been having some weird & vivid dreams, although I have been sleeping much better this week drinking herbal teas in the evening rather than booze. Alcohol does make me fall asleep much more quickly, but then I tend to wake up in the middle of the night several times so quality of sleep much poorer. It's funny, because when I was drinking in the week, I used to think I would not be able to get to sleep at all if I didn't drink, just goes to show, eh?!
I'm waiting til Sunday to do my weekly weigh-in. Hoping to have dropped a couple of lbs thanks to the Mon-Thurs challenge!
Anyway, rambly post over! Just want to thank you all for this supportive thread, it really has made it easier to cope and I do love a challenge, so special thanks to Shaggy & Pen :T I'm sure I woudln't have been able to do it without finding this forum.
Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend! Fingers crossed I'll have time to catch up sometime over the weekend as I've got lots of tradesmen coming round to give me quotes for new kitchen and all the prep work I need doing before then.... including the removal of the delightful chalet-stylee 'Cuprinol brown' pine-cladded ceiling (?!?!) that the previous owners thought it fit to install... :oS

Strangely enough, MissP was only asking about vivid dreams earlier in the week. Seems it's fairly common but it will pass.0
