Morning all.
Thanks for doing the scoring again this month Shaggy.
If anyone wants another excuse to lay off the booze a bit in the next couple of weeks, the police have announced their morning road stops again in our area. Thats always a wake up call for me.This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -

'morning all. Still snow-free here.
I was wondering cuppa, is it spirits that you prefer? I had a laugh at all your favourites being hidden in the shed:) Some people have cleared out their houses of booze to help them give up. As a cutter-down I've always had the call of the drinks cupboard to contend with. For me it's a mindset. If I can convince myself I'm not going to drink, and ignore 'bells' trying to persuade me then I won't. Just had a thought, it's not too cold for your drinks in the shed is it?? I wouldn't want them freezing or exploding or anything.Miss_Piggy wrote: »
Went to Toby Carvery last night...and was tempted to order a glass of wine. But decided I didn't want to waste an AF day on one glass (thats the way my mentality works!)xx
And mine works in just the same way!! I must come and look out that Toby, we'd have a great time!!0 -
I finished Nov on 21 thanks Shaggy. Boiler has been broken since the weekend, plumber coming next Monday, no heating till then. brrrrrrrr!!!...nothing to see here...0

Hi Pen and Shaggy,
Thanks to both of you for scoring for us all....it's a real incentive to me.
I was good last night so 1 AF Tuesday jumpy smiley for me please Pen.
Christmas party tonight so I am doubting myself already, although I do intend to be AF on Thursday.
Many thanks again and fingers crossed for everyone for December.

Shaggy please put me down for 8AF days for December target thank you!
Maman, yes its mainly spirits i drink, if i do have wine its with fizzy water half and half and no more than two half glasses, but mainly its vodka and tonic and gin and tonic. When i'm being sensible i'll measure 25ml out and keep track, if i'm being ultra sensible i'll halve it. Baileys though no chance, its too yummy to have a dribble in the bottom of a glass!
DH shed is well insulated as he keeps models and railway gear down there so it should be ok, but thanks for your concern! Unusually for him he had a whiskey mid morning as we were out in the snow and friends were round, the two men were standing in the garden with stupid grins and whiskey in one hand and cuppa in the other. Then he's just grabbed another so now i'm tempted to join him in a G&T, haven't succumbed yet. Wasn't going to drink this evening, but its hard if he is and just not join in. I think i'd be sensible though and only have 1-2 units if i do.
Anyway i'll wait a bit longer and see how i feel once the kids in bed. See what this thread is doing to me, last week i'd have jumped in with both feet!!! THANK YOU.Live for the moment and plan for the future0
