The best way for British workers to retain highly paid jobs, preventing them from being outsourced, is to create a layer of mystique surrounding the job; use your own arcane language to describe how you do things, almost verging on code.

Occasionally, wearing a disguise will help. Nothing too obvious. A well dodgy white wig and long gown should do the trick, but you may have to push for something in red with oddball stockings.

You'll need a ready market of people for your services. Tattooed wannabe shipworkers with a penchant for Big Macs, complaining of discrimination. They'll do.

    ;)

Avoiding the question (regarding where you got BNP supporter from) and finishing with lines like this (How confusing this all is.) can lead to just one simple truth...

    You are Graham Devon.

Where did I get the BNP thing from? Simple - a wild and ironic flight of fancy. Nothing more sinister I'm afraid. I was simply trying to conjure up an image of the most repulsive type of job applicant I could imagine.

    Does that help?

Not a chance. They couldn't pay our fees, and we wouldn't want our lovely offices sullied by such horrific people.

We are as selective about our clients as we are about our employees.

    It's all about quality, innit?

    Heehee, it is indeed.

Actually, I have respect for the legal profession in that they know how to defend their patch.

In comparison, the IT workers here are busy bickering between themselves whilst work moves elsewhere. The irony is that we helped build the technology to support this export of work!

We must have been particularly stupid that day.

The Filipinos are increasingly becoming the workhorses of the global shipping industry.

I don't why but the Filipinos have been the workhorse of the marine industry for many a year, why do you say becoming?

the legal profession is, in many ways, an export.
