What's your point?
Is there something wrong with that?
We now operate in a global marketplace. That includes labour. Cheap overseas labour helps us buy our cheap toys and gadgets and clothes. It's the way the world is.
If British workers want to compete, then I guess they are going to have to get more marketable, be that in terms of adding more value to justify their higher costs, or reducing their cost.
It's that simple at the end of the day.
Yes it is that simple. That was my point. So there's no need for him to lie that he can't employ British workers because they're too fat and tattooed to be employable.
People like him promote the myth that British people can't or won't work, which is so gleefully taken up by the tabloids and their readers. They want you to believe that this is why they have to import cheap labour.Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.0 -

No, not much.
Some QCs rake in mega-bucks from abroad, though, either by going there to do cases, or by advising from the UK....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
