Actually the weight isn't the issue the tattoos are and have always been.

If you want to have a tattoo then use your common sense and have it where no one can see it if you are dressed in professional clothes.

That includes not having tattoos on your legs, ankles or feet if you are prone to showing them off in hot weather.

I think I said I would prefer to employ a lithe Filipina over a tattoo'd BNPer, anyday. It was a simple statement of fact - a personal preference, if you like.

I have no idea how fat people vote. It's not something I care to think about, to be honest. I believe Eric Pickles is rather chubby, and suspect he votes conservative. The late and great Mr Cyril Smith would, I suspect, have voted Liberal, but I can't be sure.

By implication, you did. You changed fat and covered in tattoes, to BNP supporter and tattoed.

What's your point?

Is there something wrong with that?

We now operate in a global marketplace. That includes labour. Cheap overseas labour helps us buy our cheap toys and gadgets and clothes. It's the way the world is.

If British workers want to compete, then I guess they are going to have to get more marketable, be that in terms of adding more value to justify their higher costs, or reducing their cost.

It's that simple at the end of the day.

Oh. Rightio. To be candid, as cases go to be rested, it's not that compelling and i rather suspect it might be thrown out as being unproven. But that's another issue altogether.

And here was me thinking it was you who made some connection between being fat and being a BNP supporter, not me.

How confusing this all is.

Generally agree with this, aside from to say that most people in the Philippines speak English as an equal first language.

You once would struggle to find a seaman without a tattoo. It was sailors who spread the practice to the west.
