C & G Waiving Arrangement Fee

We are with c&G, havent payed for anythin either... fee free.. have MIP, and will be finding out tuesday if our full mortgage has been accepted so far c&g have been absolutely fantastic... we also done it thru lloyds.


before i forget, didnt pay nowt for the valuation, this took place on a friday and was told on monday last, everythin is fine, so in my experience regarding how long - they have been pretty quick with valuations etc..HTH - good luck

SO how come you never had to pay for the valuation, was it a remortgage?

Yes, it was VERY quick with valuation, its been 2 weeks from placing the offer on the property to recieveing a formal mortgage offer (mon-tue)...

We managed to get the free valuation as we went through a mortgage broker and not direct.. (its for a property purchase) Our mortgage broker is really good, very pleased with service so far.. how about you? how is yours so far? its really xcited but also worryi summin will go wrong -fingers crossed hey.. HTH

I think your expectations are a little high in relation to timescales - although I i know how keen you will be to get your own place:j

No Post today...You were right.....!!

I must lower my expectations....but it seems to take ages. Everything that we have to do seems forever until we get the results back...days just pass and they seem worthless. All to do with waiting for peopel to complete admin jobs...aargh!

I did ring C&G today tho (i know im impatient...) and they said Survey all done, everything ok, they will be sending the paperwork through to head office to be checked and then a formal offer will be out with us on Friday or Monday. So just another 5 days to hold out for. :-)
