Oh Suzy, I'm so sorry.
Luc, I hope the little boy gets better soon.
Elfen, don't overdo it.
LMC and Tenmah, it's a Vauxhall Insignia diesel. It's huuuuuge but it's got parking sensors so hopefully I'll be ok.

Suzy - I saw something on the tv last week (or week before) with Dominic somebody or other about these deposit chutes! - They were investigating the loss of someones money. I paid attention cos I had just used one for the first time. After seeing that, I don't think I'll bother in future. Apparently the UK are behind other countries in their technology with these things. Hope you find the money.0

ten and Ames, I really needed to go running, I've been feeling jumpy for days but now I feel TONS better...I didn't push myself hard, I just took it easy
I spent the afternoon reading** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

Suzy, did anyone see you put the money in the envelope? I'd suggest writing to the head office, cos i did wonder if this is waht they say, whether the bank person who handeled the envelope would pocket the cash.Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!DFW Long Hauler Supporter No 1500

Thanks for your support everyone.
Scaredy - no, unfortunately I was on my own. The same thought about the cash being pocketed occured to me too, but they say two people check and count the money. I think I'll go into the bank again tomorrow and try to speak to someone and ask to see the copy they've made of my deposit slip. I just can't believe I've lost £100......YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -
Did you speak to a manager, Suzy? I'd say still write a letter, after all, if you were trying to pull one, you would say you put in £530...Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!DFW Long Hauler Supporter No 1500

I know Scaredy....I am just doubting myself over everything now. I know I didn't split the money up and took it all with me, but it's my word against the system.
The managers aren't there until Monday, but I think I'll go in tomorrow in any case and see what my next step is. I was told I could raise a complaint, but I'm not sure what I'm compaining about.
I wrote the paying in slip incorrectly and put the money in - noone else. I mean....what proof do I have that I put the money in? Anyway....my family is fit and well and happy. It's a lot of money, but at the end of the day if it teaches me to concentrate on what I'm doing it might save me a lot more in the long run.
I just hate feeling so stupid.YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -
