I really want to go clubbing I just love to dance, but all my friends are sadly too grown up. The thing is I would be on my own ( no idea what people wear or how they dance these days).
I don`t really want to go on my own as that would feel really wierd.
Just wondered if there is some sort of webside where I could find and meet up with people in simmilar situation. I`ve looked around, but can`t find anything.
I joined some dating site which just attracts people how want sex both man and women, so that`s no good.
Any suggestions where I can find people who just want to dance?

When I was single I went on a dating website that also had people looking for friends on it, or just people in your situation that were looking for people to do stuff with. They also arranged regular nights out which i guess were more aimed at the singles crowd but they'd be a good way to meet people to go out with too.
Am I allowed to name websites on here? Never sure if it's classed as spam or not!!0 -

Why not try salsa - lots of people go on their own, very sociable, fun, lots of places to learn and weekend parties too.
Google salsa and your town/area and you should find something nearby.0 -
There is a website called drinkingpartners not sure if it's co.uk or .com but should come up on google, it sounds like it's exactly what your looking for. HTH!0

Was also going to suggest maybe a salsa class? Or even something like ballroom dancing? Suggest checking out the local colleges or community halls etc to see what might be on.0

In a similar vein http://www.meetup.com then search for groups near your area. I know there are a lot certainly in London that go to clubs.0 -
Maybe put a note on the notice board at work and see if anyone wants to come out? Of course if you don't like your colleagues then obviously that may not be the best idea, but it's worth a try..."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0
