Hi
Can anyone guide me on what to do next.
Sent FOS template to Welcome finance for misselling me ppi on the 4/07/10 they never replyed so sent them a second letter on the 31/8/10 telling them that they had 14 days to reply.
Today they sent me a letter telling me that it was done through a broker and to contact them.
They did give an address and tel no for them.
The broker is Enpower Solotions Ltd Poole Dorset has any one had any dealings with them.
When i phoned the no 08717502495 they said it was credit plus and when i pushed them about Enpower Solotions Ltd they told me that they clsed down in 2008.
What is my next move

Hi there

If the business have closed down, maybe it would be a good idea to check if they are listed with the financial compensation scheme (FSCS) if so you should be able to make a claim through these, but they must have been regulated by the FSA when you taken out the loan.

May i ask what year you taken your loan out with these? thanks.

I have found some details on Companies House Search, and when writing in Enpower Solutions LTD this is what it came up with as below and its status is active according to that, but if you have any documentation with that business name on, its worth checking to see if it matches up on the company number.....

Right what I would do then, is contact the FSCS as above first, and if no joy contact the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) where they will guide you from there, but please let us know so we can help you through this too, it looks like they used to be regulated, so that should be okay on that side of it.;)

so not sure if they are the same ones, so maybe its best to get them checked out with FSCS first to make sure with them.

This is getting unreal when you start digging on the fsa register.
When i click on individuls and previous involments it brings up

Yes I know what you mean, I remember trying to make a reclaim with a company called Click Finance ltd, and the ones I used dissolved in 2006, yet the same director/manager are still running Click Companies and claim they have nothing to do with the previous ones, they did as they were part of them, but its a different company number to each one, very frustrating!

But in your case, do contact the FSCS first and ask if Enpower are listed, then maybe explain about Credit plus otherwise, if this gets too confusing then contact the FOS as a general query and see what they suggest.;)
