Hope you can sort it Suzy,Boiler pot £30.92/£10000
-
I did that once Suzy, they phoned me to say there was a discrepancy and sorted it out. Another time I was using an automated machine and didn't realise that I also needed to fill a form in until the money didn't appear in my account, I went in and spoke to them and it was just in a safe waiting for someone to claim it. So I'm sure they'll have seen it all before and know how to sort it.
Well I'm going to bed, I've got the theatre tomorrow afternoon and I need to be rested to concentrate on Shakespeare!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Thanks guys.
No, no receipt unfortunately but not sure that would really help as I still could have only deposited some of the cash. Can't go in first thing as I start work at 8.30am so will have to go in my lunch break.
Surely they would have credited the actual amount of cash in the envelope, rather than just going by what was written on the paying in slip. Otherwise I would have written £500 - I could do with that amount of money!!!
Thanks for your support anyway - hopefully will have something positive to report tomorrow.YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -
Thanks Ames ('thanks' button disappeared again grrrr). Hopefully it will be as simple as that for me too. Just feel so stupid.YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

Suze, more than likely they will credit your account with the right amount, as they will check it. But if not, then they will have a record of there being too much money in the machine (I think it just gets credited to a suspense account if they can't work out who it belonged to). If you check your account tomorrow, hopefully you will see the right amount has been credited but if not it will be easy enough to sort out, you'll just need to give them a ring or call into the branch. Happens all the time, so don't worry."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
