*thud* yummmy! It was good then? Do I need to take a cushion and stuff, three an a half hours with just one little interval sounds like an endurance test!

The wine glasses are really nice, I've got a couple for myself (I have a habit of breaking them too!) and I'm going to get a few for xmas presents.

I also need to get to morrisons, they have chip pans for a fiver, I don't eat chips but want some pans with the baskets to make cooking easier and they're just the right size.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
  • Very good, although I must admit it took me a while to get into the theatre experience (don't go very often) and the Shakespearian language. There were moments though where you could almost feel the whole audience holding their breath! And yes a cushion might be a good idea - my bum was a bit numb by the end!

  • Hi!

think I'm getting through the busy - my time management is mince! Too much to do and definitely not enough hours in the day!!

September hasn't been a great month for spending, in fact it's been mince too!! haha!!

Made a pasta bolognaise bake thingie from a recipe I found on here (no idea where!) for dinner last night. It was really yummy! Two portions now in the freezer for another day.

Looks decidedly autumnal out there, neighbour tells me there are lots of plums on some trees in the local woods so I may have to bag me some for jam!!

Finally googled John Simm. I would just l;ike to say --- huh? I don't get it (confused smiley)...

I loved the opera Ames. Madame Butterfly one of my faves, as is Aida. I started by going to a local music hall where shortened versions were put on and worked up to the full shebang. Properly stage managed they are truly moving works of art.

From there I moved onto ballet. Nice, but (for me anyways) not the same emotive pull.

  • Today seems to be really dragging, just want to get home. Only 6 and a half hours left to go. Anyone got any plans for tonight?

Plans for tonight involve sitting and watching films, and writing up a blog post about them.
