haha gazwood, he's not my type! that spolier is ghastly!
spoke to customer services and they said they will speak to the area manager for that store and get back to me. They need to check if he actually bought them before store opening or something like that.
If i havent heard in a couple of days ill give them a call back.
In all fairness to Lidl the girl on the phone was nothing but helpful and said she will send me £10 of vouchers for my trouble so far, so even if i dont get any further with it, at least i get my gin for free!0 -

Just a suggestion - Instead of posting in the busiest place and creating work for a board guide to move it, why not look for a better place ?
Praise, Vent & Warnings is clearly more suitable for rants.
Why is this site becoming so nasty?:(
While I appreciate your point, the OP was probably as unaware as I was until now that there was a place for praise, etc.
For some people it takes quite a lot of courage to actually make a posting, so if you then get slated it can put you off altogether.0 -

In all fairness, it wasn't like the poster was having a go, and could have made it sound a lot nastier. As poster said, it was only a 'suggestion'. If people don't point other people in the right area for their posts when they are new, how will they ever learn where to post, and if that was the case, why have different boards, just lump them all into one. Now that would be chaos! :money:“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

The only nasty post I can see in this thread is the abusive one below yours. There is clearly nothing at all nasty about the one you quoted.0 -
I think they get paid a bit more than Tesco etc..because the staff have to sweep up outside, clean windows, wash floors and other tasks that other shops employ people to do.0
