What do you have to show for your debt ??

I've got quite a lot of things that would bought during my time in debt (2000 - 2006). Household goods mainly, fridge, cooker, washer, bed, wardrobes, sofa, PC, desk etc. The rest was taken up with general living expenses, food, petrol etc.
My OH who still is in debt and had over £60k when he entered his DMP plan over 6 years has nothing to show for it because his ex kept everything except the debt.0 -
Expenses from divorce action, reduced income during training period, some extravagant purchases (like a once in a lifetime cruise which battered the hell out of the credit cards), general increased costs of living etc etc etc.
No good in moping about it, the money has gone for good. Now it's a life of monthly debt repayments (about 4 years left to go) and strict budgeting. At least I am now more aware of how I used to waste money, and this will be useful as things are getting harder for everyone now.One life - your life - live it!0 -
My divorce, my new DW divorce, 4 kids, two cars, and very little else. A small period trying to build a business didn't help financially either.Like all revolutions, guerrilla goodness begins slowly, with a single act. Let it be yours.

Hi there
I know I have a huge headache a pile of letters that was once a forest a grumpy other half who thinks I was the only one living off credit cards but the only thing I do know what to do is say NO to the kids NO to family and friends when they are stuck and NO to my creditors when they harrass me to pay more so all I coming out with is the ability to say NO NO NO0 -
Rock all, no fancy holidays or anything to show...
Most stupid thing was taking a £7k loan for the ex so he could buy a car, needless to say he still has the car, I still have the debt...0 -
