Oh dear, haha! I have to get another 4 for this semester so dunno how much that is going to cost!! What are you studying? x
  • Use the library? I really don't understand why people buy books, especially this early in the year when it's unclear how much you are going to need to use it.

If you don't want to use the library then get a group friends and each buy one book and then share it between you. Saves having to buy each one.

It's pretty much what we'll be learning from, most of the tutorials are in the book so its kinda required and they're already gone from the library, lol. I checked :P
  • are there no issues in the reference section? i usually found there were a few copies that couldn't be checked out. you'd have to work there, but it's a big moneysaver!

otherwise, sharing between friends is a good idea.

I think mine should last for the majority of my working life

Im enrolling tomorrow so 1st stop is the library to see how many copies exist- that cant be taken out. And should get confirmation as to whether it is neccesary, form the look of it I think it is.

EH student? i bought clays and rarely used it...in fact its still gathering dust on a shelf. i have never once referred to it while working either. i really wouldn't encourage buying clays, get it from the library, and if its not available then ask for a copy to be placed in the reference section.
