    Have placed my order, thanks.

I'm using a netbook and the space for the code was not showing without scrolling up which I failed to do.

    Great offer. :)

  • Just ordered mine without any problems. I noticed that on the website it was showing 8 copies for £1 but as soon as you put in the code RTD91055 it changed to 12 copies. Many thanks for sharing this great offer.

It says 8 issues for a quid, not 12, when I click on the link above. have they changed the deal, or am i just missing something?

    Read the reply above yours.

You need to put the code in, then it will say 12.

is this a weekly mag??? i buy whats on tv lol. Will it cover xmas listings does anyone know?

Yes, it is a weekly mag, apart from christmas/new year when you get one double issue.

I've tried other tv mags, but IMPO Radio Times is an infinitely superior tv listings magazine (especially if you like proper cast listings and interesting articles). It is one of the more expensive tv listing magazines I think but there are nearly always offers like this one around and you get what you pay for anyway.

It normally takes a few weeks for a subscription to kick in but I would imagine that the 12 week offer should cover the christmas/new year issue.

And for those who are asking about when they can cancel - you can cancel your subscription at any time, I've done this a few times with the Radio Times and have had no problems at all.

What happens if I subscribe for the 12 weeks and cancel after 2 or 3 weeks? Do I still receive 12 issues or will I only get the issues upto the cancellation date?

Ideally I'd like to subscribe for 12 weeks (inc. the xmas issue), but cancel almost immediately (i.e. 2 weeks later) so I don't forget and get stung. When would you guys recommend I commence the subscription and then cancel it?
  • Hi,
Probably a silly question but I did this deal the last time it was on. Do I register under a different email address and put all my details in again or can I log in using the same user\password as last time (Im wondering whether this is only for new registrations)
    Thanks

I think you can do it under your name again. I can't say though as I haven't tried it. If you don't want to risk it, perhaps change your name slightly and use a different email address (or your partner's email details if you have one). I use the same postal address and it worked fine.

When you receive your first issue, make a note of when you received it. Don't forget your christmas/new year issue will probably count as two issues. I would suggest sending them an email to cancel your subscription about 3 weeks before your final issue - you will still get your final copies but won't have the direct debit coming out for the next 6 month sub (£24.99).

If the worst comes to the worst and you forget, you can cancel your sub the 6 month sub (I've normally done this through email) - they will refund you for the issues not sent. I think this is pretty reasonable as many mag subs won't do this.
