I've not spent anything today.....but then I haven't set foot outside the house...except to put the washing out in the weed ridden yard that is attracting far too many bloody bees............which I don't mind until they start buzzing past my ears.....and turn me into an arm flailing maniac trying to finish hanging the washing quickly and get back in the house:o

I know I shouldn't but the image made me :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well done on the non spender! :T

Bees are no problem. Bees will bang into you (big ones aren't that good fliers), realise you're not a flower and go looking for something else (flowers). You're not a flower, you're not part of their world - they will ignore you, they have a mission (flowers). Bees are single minded in that respect.

Wasps on the other hand... Kill wasps.

I actually quite like watching the bees go about their business...they are quite industrious don't you think? I have actually found myself just standing there watching them...and enjoying the peace at the same time..........lovely.........take time to enjoy the little things I say!

However, I think what may have freaked me out is that...the other's over the other side of the entry......appear to have a LOT of wasps attracted to/living in their yard.....I could be mistaken......they could be another breed of bee I suppose....but they look like wasps....and I just freaked:o

Well I used to think that, but a couple of years ago, we grew sunflowers. And bees used to fly in, and just not emerge. On closer examination, they were either sleeping or sunbathing! Whatever they were doing - they were skiving...

    Wasps! Kill!

This is quite a good piccy of the difference - upshot: Bees are hairy and fat.

    Always got the right answer!

Hmm. Wouldn't go that far. Maybe "always full of answers" is as far as I would go. Maybe even that should be shortened to "always full of"... :rotfl:

You'd have bees all over you. And they expend such a lot of effort getting into all your crevices. Then they tell their mates who then come and expend a lot of effort getting into all your crevices...

£10.95 in art shop on votives and glass paint and have realised that the paint is rubbish! So I'm quite annoyed, then again, it might just be me :)

If you know the difference between good and bad paint, then it is probably not you.
