  • I got mine done last week, LA, and it lifted my spirits no end!

Spend today: £19.95  because I decided on the spur of the moment to go to Sainsbury's instead of Asda/the market. So naturally I spent money on rubbish (aka ready meals). My first ready meals for months though... does that absolve me?
 What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about?

  • Hi Moozie! I have been somewhat absent recently haven't I? For varying reasons....

Minnie....ready meals.....hmmmm. Well, good for you for having a break from buying them, and for goodness sake make sure you enjoy the one you have tonight! Presuming you have it tonight anyway. (It's not like you can take it back is it?)

However.....must try harder for the coming weeks then! ;)

Oooh get me. Trying to be all stern. :rotfl:

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
    evening moozie et al

had a lovely afternoon in town, the sun was shining and i was feeling really good about myself, which always makes for a fun day.

i spent £5.54 in woolies on a box of just brazils for my grans xmas (saving £1 at the mo on the big box) and a bottle of water for myself, need to keep hydrated at the mo.
spent £8 in thorntons on a box of continental for one me step granda, they are on 20% off (were £10, saved £2) and you got a free wee bag with four chocs in it, torn between scoffing the ones i like or chucking them in for someones xmas...will see.
treated myself to a subway for lunch, it's been ages since i was in there and i was so very very hungry, £2.29
and i bought the eyelets and ribbon to enable me to finish my birthday outfit (when i get round to it!) £3.54.
picked up another bottle of water but used my boots gift card left over from pb vouchers so no spend on that.
    total £19.37

looks bad when you total it up, can't remember the last time i spent twenty quid in a day, but it's all for good causes so i'm a happy bunny. see you all at the dfw party! x

Oooh get me. Trying to be all stern. :rotfl:

Don't be stern. This is stern.

This is definately a much better thing to be.

well it didnt work out :rotfl: i didnt leave the house but i spend £4.94 on ebay on a new coat for winter (but it may turn out to be a summer coat) but i think it was a good buy after all it was only 99p before p&p :D
  • I've not spent anything today.....but then I haven't set foot outside the house...except to put the washing out in the weed ridden yard that is attracting far too many bloody bees............which I don't mind until they start buzzing past my ears.....and turn me into an arm flailing maniac trying to finish hanging the washing quickly and get back in the house:o

Bees are no problem. Bees will bang into you (big ones aren't that good fliers), realise you're not a flower and go looking for something else (flowers). You're not a flower, you're not part of their world - they will ignore you, they have a mission (flowers). Bees are single minded in that respect.

    What a thought ZTD!
    Always got the right answer!

Im glad I'm not a flower!

Well bit late to add, but I spent £15 today

£10.95 in art shop on votives and glass paint and have realised that the paint is rubbish! So I'm quite annoyed, then again, it might just be me :)

I also spent £4.05 in Superdrug on soap, soap box and 2 sets of napkins rings for 79p each!
I've just spent early evening customising them for christmas pressies as well as making some wine glass charms so thats a whole pressie done!
