    Their fees are around £22 for those asking.

    Is this fee deducted from the £248.56 or have you to send it to them first?

    I have just looked back over my bank statements and on 15/10/99 I got £248.56 from the AA so were you in the AA in 1999?
  • Called Centrica's registrars, Equiniti, very helpful and sorted out in 5 minutes. There is a £11.75 charge for the "re-issue" of the cheque, much less than the £26.38 charge for Prosearch!

  • I've just received the same letter for £248.56 is it good or is it a scam???? yes I was a member back then but not a share holder. How is it I quailfy for this payout? I never even look at these letters normaly it's only seeing the AA on it that made me look. any help would be appreciated.

    There were no shareholders then, there were members so you should be in line for the cash.
