Thanks to the above posters. I've sent other creditors income and expenditure forms and they always ask how much I owe on other debts. I had no idea I did not have to tell them, thanks for this advice.
I havn't paid the interest on the debt for several years to Tesco but I've no idea what Moorcroft intend to do with it now. Sadly, as I only live on benefits, the chance of saving any money to make them a settlement offer is unlikely so just looks like I'll be stuck paying these idiots for ever more. Like I have already said, I shall only be dealing with them by recorded delivery letters in future and I thank everyone who has confirmed my belief that I am perfectly within my legal rights to do this.0
