Wipe table and replace cloth if needed

Clean out the fridge thoroughly.. Am just about to cook loads of leftovers from it...
[STRIKE]Clean the burners and removable things from the hob thoroughly so they shine![/STRIKE]

- Make lasagne - lasagne meat sauce in oven

Hellyboo - I have the same trouble! There's still some clothes and stuff on the bed for putting away but madam has decided she's had enough so I've had it leave it till later *rolleyes*
He seems settled now but will want feeding in 20 mins or so and DS1 is home and demanding my attention. He has hit the "I want" stage running and since we got home from preschool (and the whole walk home - takes me 6 minutes on my own and 25 with him walking...) it's been "I want juice" "I want pasta" "I want Peppa Pig" ARGH! I'm trying to teach him to say "I would like...please" but it's not going in. I will not give up though!
Going to try and sneakily tidy the conservatory for 15 mins while they're both quiet-ish, then I might actually get it mopped this side of christmas...So, there are these boys,
They kinda stole my heart,
They call me Mummy

Don't give up Hellyboo - I have always insisted my kids use their manners and it does pay off. Receive many a compliment off complete strangers who say it is lovely to hear young ones using them. You could always try ignoring him until he says it properly. Mine realised they were more likely to get what they wanted if they asked properly. After a while, they will do it naturally and you will be glad you persevered. HTH

I wont give up! As kids me and my brothers were always taught "I want doesn't get" and that's the way I'll bring up my boys too! My Mother was always complimented on how polite we were too. The trouble with Ollie is that he was a late bloomer with regards to speech, and has just had a speech therapy assesment, so I don't want to put him off by ignoring him completely, but I'm finding it very grinding when it's I want constantly!
Have now got DS2 settled but I need to do his nappy...I can't leave it or we get into all sorts of mess but I don't want to wake him up... I'll just have to be gentle...
Then if I can settle him I'm going to sweep kitchen and conservatory floor and mop it if I can get away with it without DS2 wanting to "help", then put the laundry away and hoover upstairs. That's the plan anyway, and we know how my last plan went...
I don't think we've met LadyLiberty, but I know that you're held in very high esteem in the thread so it's lovely to meet you and nice to see you posting! So, there are these boys,
