  • Eating lunch... quiche is out of oven; fruit is bottled and the sauce should be ready to assemble into a lasagne... Just off to pick tomatoes and cucumbers, then finish off the cooking. Then school run and cello lesson run; so that will be that!

Hey ho - at least I started the kitchen! May try to do more this evening.

Hello Lady Liberty. Lovely to see you post. Sending you love, light and spoons x

Soappie our potential planning nightmare has been refused primarily on detrimental grounds the the woodland and loss of wildlife habitat. They are going to appeal but I think we've got them on the ropes. The wood and the wildlife aren't going anywhere.:D

I got a bit distracted from the LR by the garden. The lawn is now mowed and I've pulled up loads of brambles from the hedgerow on the forest side of the garden. Thank heaven for good gardening gloves.

    Slow progress with the lists.....

Lovely to see L-L post. Thanks for the good wishes.

I've been to the hosp and back, plus had lunch in starbucks with FiL.

I've written a long post here on the preg thread about how it went, which was, I think, the best I can hope for and hopefully a middle ground...I won't rewrite it all here as it's off topic but feel free to read if you are interested!

Plan for this aft is to put my feet up, friend popping over at 3 for a cuppa. DH staying a bit late at work as he's so busy (he will be handing notice in end of this week early next and notice period will include up to 2 weeks pat leave so he wants to do as much as he can now).

On a different note, we had a flat inspection today and I was here when the bloke came. He was lovely and said how clean and tidy things are...I said 'we haven't just done it for you coming' and he said he could tell that. Always good as they write to the landlady with the info. He is advising her to get the bath sealant redone as he thinks it could be leaking but that's a wear and tear issue for her to deal with not us. TBH I may just do it myself if not as it's not expensive and would look nicer.

  • Hope you are all flying out there ladies ;)

Hair is a copper/chestnut colour - will see what it looks like when it's dry - may go back to being a vivid red/orange (think Florence) if I can't get used to it.

I'm working for the next 2 days and won't get much flying done, but by doing the bathroom and making in-roads into the 2 bedrooms, I should have knocked a chunk off the list. Microwave is now shiny too. I wish I had this much energy every day; yesterday everything was impossible, but today anything is possible - strange how things happen.

Doing a couple more piddly jobs before school run.

Laters ladies (do we have any gentleman on here, does anybody know?)

    TMD xx
