Ani that's fantastic new :j:j:j Reckon it was that nice young man who seemed to know what he was talking about? I'm not suprised you're feeling so tired, it must be like having a weight lifted from your shoulders. So, all round to yours for cheese and pineapple nibbles? :D

Hope you can finally feel settled in your home now - and I'm quite tempted with one of those choc plants too.

    Big hugs xx

Ok, i'm not staying on long because i haven't stopped all day, and i am shattered. I didn't sleep well last night as i fell asleep early on, and awoke in the early hours of the morning, and couldn't get back to sleep again. An early night, tonight?

More letters today, which have still needed sorting. And more phone calls, because i get confused by it all. I'm told i don't need to pay council tax, then i received another ct bill. I'm told i'm receiving dla, then i receive a letter saying it is being re assessed? I don't know where i am with it all, then i panic, and actually, i'm unable to complete forms, anymore. I've really struggled. It's anyone's guess whether i'll ever receive payment of dla, when it could be, and how much it will be.

For now, i've been very stupid and bought several more chocolate plants, ( pressies.) Not a huge amount of money, but i'm now worried as i still never know how much i'm going to get of anything, when it will be, and what bills i'm supposed to pay.

Look on the bright side. I've a garden full of chocolate plants, and you can smell this place a mile off?

Ani and the chocolate factory. :o

Oh, and thanks for the gingerbread which arrived remarkably intact. xx :D

Tomorrow i am having a day out of life.

Stop worrying. They always send conflicting letters. Get a box, put you mail in a box, unopened and unlocked at, except for cards and nice things. Treat this as a job. Monday morning open and sort into piles.... Get some files together. Plan a strategy, put your analytical mind to work. Decide that you are going to "work"on this stuff for say one hour and stop. Rest, eat, garden, etc. then maybe go back to it, or put it in a box till tomorrow. Rinse and repeat.

    Do something creative every day.

Treat yourself to something you like every day

Have at least one face to face conversation every day

    Be nice to you

None of this will sort quickly, beurocracy doesn't work that way...

Breathe, enjoy the sunshine and the rain

    Lots of love

I think it will be a well-earned day off: what a week it's been. We will try not to disturb you.

    (Ssshhh!)

The CT bill was probably sent out by a different department entirely from the one which said you don't have to pay, and it will take a while longer for the two to talk to each other, so don't panic about that. Also I suspect your DLA award has been trundling through the system for a while, followed by a decision to reassess based on additional data at some point - I think if they've decided to award you at a higher rate, any reassessment isn't going to take it all away again. Where are the wise and knowledgeable people when I need them?:)

Ani and the chocolate factory - how cool is that?! Chocolate and gingerbread too - mm!

    Ani's house
... and the queue to see the chocolate plants.
