I think Ani's taking time out (much needed) with a busy week coming up.

I hope the sun's shining over there, it's grey again here.

I have been so stressed and feel so ill, but there is nothing more i can do, now, except wait. Resources have been stretched to the limit. Mine included. Now i have to wait to see if the dro is accepted. I have to wait for my dla appeal, and i now have to wait for esa to do what? I received a letter today saying i don't have to go for my atos medical as they have received further medical evidence. Where from, i don't know, unless it's all the " stuff " that went back for my dla appeal? I still don't have more income. It's quite shocking the dro allows £55 a week for food and household goods. Since when did anyone, ( more specifically, I,) have £55 a week to spend on food? That's a laugh. £55 a week. In fact, £5 a week, is a laugh. Or laughable, should i say.

Also received a letter for a car insurance renewal, today. I've just had a quote, for the fun of it. Surprisingly it's come out at more than half last years insurance premium, and is the amount i was paying 10 - 20 years ago. Mind you they say insurance premiums have gone down this year, don't they? Still, i won't be able to keep a car on the road on £61 a week, but it's a comforting thought, all the same.

I have also bitten the bullet, as i am feeling so ill, and instinct tells me what is wrong, and made an appointment to go for tests which are long overdue. I'm not sure why. I really don't want to know.

nice to have you back. :)

You've a heck of a lot going on. Any idea when you will hear about dro / dla/ esa?

    I'm glad you don't have to have the asos medical... am I right in thinking this means they have all the evidence without seeing you? As to medical tests - it must be hard indeed to make yourself go for them, maybe all the more as you've been in a similar position before, but as you're feeling so ill you clearly need to do something not just struggle on. {{hugs}}

Car insurance - yes, I saw something about it falling. Another pat on the bonnet for ani from me. :)

    Hello.

Not having to go to the medical is really good news, the dwp cannot find you fit to work without a medical, which means that you will get esa at either the wrag or support group rate. You will get it backdated to week 13 too.:T:T:T

Apparently this money is meant to be used by you to ensure your health and wellbeing and you may be able to argue that there are things you have to purchase with it..... Like insurance for your car, and other essentials like a cooker. Maybe advice from CAB would help here.

I am sorry things are so stressful for you. I got my esa renewal form on Friday and just feel sick thinking about it.

I hope the news about the medical is a change in your fortune and you get the time you need to recover

I thought you could get ESA without a medical as long as you got enough points?

I didn't reaalise that. To be honest, i don't really understand about going for the medical, etc. I think i'm now in week 19/ 20 on assessment rate. It's shocking i've been off work ill, for so long, if you sit down and think about it? That's five months, and almost all the time i've lived here.
Apparently this money is meant to be used by you to ensure your health and wellbeing and you may be able to argue that there are things you have to purchase with it..... Like insurance for your car, and other essentials like a cooker. Maybe advice from CAB would help here.
I was told this, yesterday. There are lots of essentials, any payments will be swallowed up with, straight away. For instance, the gas bill, i'm still living in fear of. :o

I don't think i'll worry myself further by asking when you receive your renewal form.

Hope it all goes " well " for you. xx

It is really getting to me, talking about it " all ", now. My " life " is just " s* ", isn't it, but i guess i'm still here, and i still have a life? Isn't that all, anyone is concerned with? To protect " life " at all costs. Isn't life supposed to be precious. Depends which side of the fence you are sitting? Or if you are sitting on the fence looking at life?

I don't want to talk about " things ", anymore. I don't want to do anything. I've run out of energy. I've run out of fight. I can't do anymore, now. Just sit and wait. Wait and see if the dro is accepted. Wait and see if my appeal for dla is processed. Wait and see what happens with my esa. I'm still worried they may just stop esa altogether? I don't know what happens. How would i live with no income at all? I don't care, to be honest. it just appears the less you have, the more you are made to suffer. That's wallowing in self pity? I'm finding people in the " real world " avoid you like the plague, the more they find out about your circumstances. More pity them?

It's all very well people saying do this and do that. I have a greater understanding of how it is for people like me, to exist. Because that's what it is, just about. An existence. Living? Tecnically, i suppose. Work are still trying to get me to go back, but i feel it's definitely for their benefit. Certainly not mine. Deep down, i know i won't return to my job. It's over. Somone is making money, and it's not me. I still blame work for my financial situation and the state of my health, now. There's £2k of debt gone into the dro. That's less then the amount still outstanding for all the work i did, for which i still haven't been reimbursed, and all the tax rebate, i'm never likely to receive. Not without an eternal battle, i can no longer fight. Just put it down to experience? I've built up £2k of debt since i went bankrupt two and a half years ago. Supposed to have wiped the slate clean? On the positive side, i was almost? managing ? on a ridiculously low income. Something i've grown accustomed to now. My income on benefits isn't far removed from my income when working. Around £6k a year, it's a struggle. Especially when you have to pay your own rent and council tax. Anything over a one person household, and you're laughing, because these things only have to be paid once, and if there's no second income from anywhere to provide the " essentials " such as food, and the like? There was another of " those " threads on here. How someone had an income of £35k pa, on benefits, which will be cut to £26k pa. I don't ever remember earning what are to me, large sums of money. That's a fortune to me. An absolute fortune. What couldn't i do with that type of income? It doesn't bear thinking about, so i won't.

Enough about money. It's depressing. Just wait for the decision regarding the dro. I never thought i'd see those words, IS, again. That hit home, the hardest.

Of course, i still have to repay the rent arrears, regardless of any dro, if i wish to remain on the " good side " of the ha. They can still evict me at a moments notice, and i still don't have any rights as a tennant, as i'm still on an introductory phase. Forgot about that one. It means, apparently, they wouldn't give me a reference, and i certainly wouldn't find anywhere else to rent, either with the council, or privately, with rent arrears.

Forgetting all the money stuff, now, which isn't likely to go away, anytime soon.

I am having my bathroom basin replaced today, in fact i think they are sitting outside, right now? That's all they ever do. Sit in their vans. :rotfl:I am also having some other internal repairs to the property, today, which have been driving me mad, for months.

After that, i'm going to the gym, even though i feel too ill. I might try and change the appointment. I don't know yet.

I must get out on sc patrol.
