Don't see what the problem is personally. Someone gave me an email contact for the CEO of T Mobile a few years ago. After banging my head against a wall with their CS for 2 days I sent an email to the address given. Phone call from head office arrived the following evening and my complaint dealt with.
It never hurts to send an email to these addresses. I imagine in 90% of cases you get nowhere but its always worth a try.0 -

I think it's more the fact that sirmarcus has regularly been turning up in threads and copy-pasting in pretty much the same message every time (with a different email address in it), without reading the thread.
I recall a thread where the OP had absolutely no rights, the customer service centre had told them as such, and nothing could be done. Yet still he waded in, read nothing further than the name of the company and posted the usual. There is a time and a place for these things, and the impression I get from sirmarcus, and hence from the website itself (as he seems to be the owner) is that you shouldn't bother trying to sort out problems in-store or with dedicated customer services - just email the CEO straight away. And that doesn't help anyone: if a CEO was going to be the first point of contact for customer problems, then they wouldn't employ any customer service staff.
By all means try it if you have a serious problem which isn't being resolved. But if, for example, a store isn't giving you a refund on a product you've opened, ripped away the packaging, used and then decided you don't want...emailing a CEO is hardly the best thing for you to do.

In your case pullip, you'd exhausted all avenues and got nowhere.
However as Esqui has stated above, Sirmarcus/Curios stock reply to ANY complaint, regardless of whether any other attempts to rectify the situation through CS, head office etc have been made, is email the CEO. Fly in your soup? email the CEO, inadequate free carrier bags? email the CEO.
By going straight to the top, as per their advice, you have nowhere else to go when you get no response.
It has also been pointed out, on more than one occasion, that the some of the adresses on the website are incorrect, and many are guessed from adding the CEO's name to the company standard email. I can see many CEO's changing their email adresse format when they get throughly !!!!!! of with receiving emails from consumers, when they have a whole department to deal with problems.

Steve Jobs email address is wrong as I have pointed out to Sir Marcus many times. Its widely known as sjobs@apple.com not steve.jobs@apple.com as you have on the site. First Name, Surname is not the format Apple use, I have contacts within Apple and there is no format that they follow.0
