Thanks Beanie - hope your day is going well too - I notice the other day that you are having trouble getting around and thinking about getting a mobility scooter - poor you - hope you get sorted out

We have just finished our lunch of jacket potato, baked beans and tuna, with a little mature cheedar - yum yum - car boot this morning was extra quiet - people came and set up stalls and then packed up and went after an hour or so, hubbie and one other stallholder saw the morning out to the end. Hubbie only took £19 and had to pay pitch fee of £6 from that, but the reason he does Tuesdays is so that he is already set up for the busy Friday car boot, so, as long as he covers his pitch, that is fine - in fact the £19 covers Tuesday, Friday and Sunday pitch fees with £1 spare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There certainly is Phil - as long as you don't jump out of that wardrobe and frighten everyone as we are all highly sprung around here ?!?!?!?

Mind you, surely you are too young for 'knee problems' - mine are bad with arthritis, but you're still a young 'un aren't you Phil?

  • I hit the big "40" back in June this year....health not too great at the best of times but been putting off knee replacements for a while, the consultant always said "oh loose more weight before surgery"..saw him on a yearly basis and a few weeks ago he's agreed to surgery..EEK!

Sorry to hear that Phil - is it wear and tear on the joints or was it from an injury? The thought of surgery on your knees is pretty scary but at least when it's done, you'll soon be leaping out of wardrobes again and of course running around with the little one. I know a couple of people who have had knee replacements and they are fantastic, as long as they don't put too much weight back on, otherwise the pain just comes back again
