Yes, you get to bed hun, you have had a long day today. As I had my long lie-in this morning, I feel fine tonight. I will probably stay on-line but type up the next instalment of my story ready to post tomorrow

After 2 years at Grammar School, we got tested in Latin and if you did not make the grade, you got chucked out of class - I failed miserably, just couldn't get the hang of it, so went from class A to class C for year 3 but luckily they changed the C to NL (Non-Latin) that year so it was a little easier to tell me Dad (you will notice this alot - I never wanted to let me Dad down as he was so proud that all 3 of his children had gone to Grammar School - it was unusual from our background of pure working class - it was not that I was frightened of him, it was more that I respected him so much)

But yes, I can certainly change a plug - very practical like that

I wanted to say something. I knew i was tired and down but didn't understand why. I have just checked my blood sugars v low!!!! see that explains it. I have eaten something v quickly and will have some lucozade too.

Every cloud has a silver lining doesn't it? In the last few minutes (amazing what a bit of glucose does) i have realised i have so many things to be grateful for:

You and Alan and my friends are the best friends anyone could wish for. People pretend don't they but you guys are the real deal. I am blessed.

Tonight after my nightclass i was about to book a taxi but a student who i looked after 12 years ago at another college magically appeared and insisted on driving me home as she said i was the best teacher i had ever had.

Then one of my old heroes (genius, he went to Oxford) has just emailed and offered me tuition of one of his wife's students as he said i might miss an old subject I no longer teach. He said i was the first person he had thought of. The fact he remembered me is amazing. And the money will be great i can put it in my holiday fund.

All day as i wondered round college students kept approaching me wishing i still taught them this year. I am so lucky I really do know the best people.

I will be happy to teach you some Latin if you like!!! Lots of orgies and rat eating those Romans were really naughty.

I love you so much, thank you.

By the way, I looked over on Firewalker's diary and realised that her's was one of the first ones I read when I came on the site - recognised the story in the first post - gonna catch up on it some night when I have the time. And I'll have to look up Worried Jim's too

Well it's bedtime for me - starting to feel sleepy and I am up at 6.30 tomorrow morning for car boot. Sorry but I did not get that instalment typed up after all so I will do that tomorrow

Good Morning Diary and friends and lurkers

I'm just off out now - down to car boot with hubbie to hel him set up, then pop to take something back to a shop for an exchange, home to potteraround a bit, then back to car boot to help hubbie till close of car boot
