Hope the missus is ok, and that Mum in Law is getting better?

Sad to hear about the Blackfriars, used to be a nice pub. My Dad keeps me up to speed with the news, and it sounds like the place is really going downhill. But then I suppose all towns have their problems. One life - your life - live it!0

Hello everyone
Evening to all the friends of 3Dogs' thread and welcome to Frosty, I'm new too here but feel very welcome.
Had a good day with mother in law although lost a contact lens so have been walking round all bong eyed. What a state as I am rather poorly sighted to in order to see I had to shut one ye. So pleased I wasn't driving.
How has everyone's day been? Steinbeck Kit, should I give it a go or is it a 'difficult' read?
It is a bit. but i loved it. I am a dork delish. It was 20 years ago though. My doctor says i have to read chick lit and destress. I have lots of books now but i miss the classics.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
