If these are out of stock you could call Adelante to see if their £225 Base Units are still available (similar spec to the Aldi £200 one).

To those who it may concern.
All electric goods purchased in the UK come with a minimum of a years guarantee. This is the law, they cant get out of it....Sales of Good and Services 1973 i believe.... So dont worry about '90 days'.A bargain is only a bargain if you would have brought it anyway!0 -
Is that relevant to 'refurbished goods'? Now if you are referring to Dell......0

according to the DTI warranties from a manufacturer or retailer are purely voluntary, although most new goods do indeed have a 1yr min warranty, 90 days is typical for refurb goods though.
I must say these PC's represent good value, you can also upgrade the processor etc later on helping to future proof for a few years.0 -

Don't know where you got that from.
A manufacturer/retailer MAY offer a GUARANTEE but it is completely at their discretion whether they do or not - though if they do that guarantee WILL be enforceable by the purchaser, and any unfair clause in it could be struck down by the Unfair Contract Terms law.
In UK law you get your rights generally against the VENDOR (though negligence issues might go back to the MANUFACTURER) and come about because of Sale of Goods statutes and common law.
The Citizens Advice Bureau have a fact sheet on guarantees that might help you at:

As the PCs are CLEARLY described as REFURBISHED and CLEARLY offered with a 90 day warranty you shouldn't believe you are entitled to a different contract - there's nothing unfair about what Medion are offering as far as I can see. You pays your money and you makes your choice.0
