Take care with those pressure washers, ESPECIALLY in a restricted space, like a bin. The water splash will bounce back & soak you! Worse still, the powerfull jet can strip your skin to the bone!!
Better use some rubber gloves, bleach & the broom!!
Actually sold a couple of vans to guys doing the 'follow the collection vehicle' job - doing quite well at £2 a bin!! And one of them gave up a career in the City to do it!!
VB
PS while were in the rubbish mood.....

I squirt neat bleach all around inside the bin and let it run down. Leave for about twenty minutes - this cleans the sides. Then add some water and leave for 30 minutes - this cleans the bottom of the bin. Then rinse out.
That is also how I clean the cat's litter tray!0 -
Jamesy is spot on spend £1.50 £2.00 is saving in a big way not only because the going price is now £3 and not only because of the £20,000 fine you get for pollution but more so for the unseen damage that is done to the environment every day by people using things like bleach and allowing the waste water to find its way into the storm drains.
Save your self the best part of £20,000 and help the environment.
Cheers

I would just like to share this tip I got from someone.
In an empty bin, squirt washing up liquid all around, leave the lid off, and with all the rain we're having lately it will get cleaned for free!
We've had enough rain fall here (Norfolk) to fill a wheelie bin twice over I think!lulabell;)
