Have you done the test yet or checked meter numbers against your bill? It's a good idea to have a basic understanding of what might be wrong.
British Gas have been billing me for gas at a property which hasn't had a meter for 5 years! We get a bill, we call them to say there is no meter, they say they'll send someone to site, they never do, they send a bill etc etc etc. This has been going on for two years!0 -
Hi, Yes it's definitely my meter that's being read. The numbers are the same, and the meter-readings quoted on my bills are the same as the meter-readings on the meter. The meter goes round when the gas is on and stays still when it's off. Since I bought the house, I've used around 600 units on the meter.
Anyway, E.On replied to my email saying they'll look into it and get back to me within 5 days....I'll let you know what happens0
