Question about Tiscali....

Ok, I signed up on 24th August and to this day I still have no connection as they state it's a problem with my exchange, so it has been well over a month now. 3 e-mails and 3 calls and still no date for completion.


So I'm going to ring today and cancell my registration.

They should be able to do this straight away, shouldn't they?

will they have already placed a marker on my line? could I get a mac code or wont they have one for me yet.


I recieved nothing they are still messing at my exchange (or so they say) I recieved no modem and they have taken no money from me yet.

Sorry I don't know the answers but if they have already asked BT to provide ADSL you will have a marker on your exchange line. They may give you a MAC, although others have had difficulty getting them to provide one, also it may depend on if your exchange is a Tiscali LLU. If they won't give you a MAC, you will have to wait until the marker is removed before any other provider will be able to supply you.
