Angry with Tiscali - Advice please!!!!

I ordered Tiscali on the 21st of August and recieved a letter stating I will be connected by 5th September. I have still not recieved my modem nor my connection so I called them this morning. He said the order has been processed but it's not gone any further, they basically just forgot about it. He said he's gonna send it down to the technical team but it could be about a week before i get connected.I'm already on the 17th day since order.
Do you think I should e-mail their complaints team about this and see if I can get any type of compensation? they state in their letter I will be connected by the 5th, will recieved my modem and be e-mail during this process. none of which I have recieved,
Any advice on this please,....
many thanks

you won't get any compensation.... just tell them to hurry up, or you will cancel your order due to the service not being supplied in the forementioned time frame0

cheap and good don't belong in the same sentence - espeacially if it is unlimited
though saying that... paying a lot more though, doesn't nessisarily guarentee a perfect service either0 -

Obviously you are free to chose but why ask for more advice in the original post in this thread then if you dont want it?
You were warned you would be dealing with a cowboy outfit. You chose to ignore the advice given because you thought you knew best. Then have the cheek to complain about their poor customer service, which had already been pointed out to you.0 -
