Actually I have been a bit worried Pooky because I have been really struggling with the concept of these challenges. Not so much Sammy's as they are quite straight forward but with the ones on Memory Girls thread. I don't understand what half of them are asking and it makes me wonder about myself. I used to think I was of average intelligence but reading everyone elses challenges and 'wants' makes me realise I am useless. Obviously I would like to be debt free and earning good money but how to go about it by visualising things, I can't seem to grasp.

I feel completely inadequate to be honest, so I am glad to read that someone is happy as they are!

I am just jealous because I haven't got anyone and know that I am not likely to either.

Aw thanks BB, but realistically I don't go anywhere to meet anyone. That is why I don't think it will happen - there isn't anyone at work and I just don't socialise anymore!

Well it is not so much that I don't understand, it is that I can't do it. I don't know what my perfect week would be, I don't know how to earn my potential hourly rate etc

I have no confidence and such low esteem that I can't ever imagine getting a better paid job!

Hardly inadequate Tenmah - you've got a good job that you enjoy, you've got a wonderful daughter and have a really good relationship with her, you've cleared your debts and have just brought yourself a new car after careful thought and consideration to the extra debt you'd be taking on. Alot of people would be very envious of your situation.

I've given up on Memory girls thread, it's gone a bit far out of my comfort zone to be honest.

I've read a whole range of threads that have been from one extreme to the other, those living a happy and content life on small incomes, they've worked out just what they need to get by and spend their time doing the things they love.......to those who are trying to cram so much into their lives so that they can have the dream (whatever their dream maybe) at some stage in the future.....in the mean time I can't help wondering that life is passing them by.
