Listed in order of impact it will have on my life:
Having my first child
Be living in my “forever” home
Being debt free
Being married
Becoming a published author
Completing my degree
Going a full year without forgetting an important birthday/event
These are listed in order of impact, but my main priority at the moment is to become debt free. This will in turn make the house/marriage/children aspect more comfortable and secure. 10. I want to feel fit healthy and attractive by 21 Oct 2010
5. I want to be debt free by December 2011
4. I want my home to be less cluttered and more welcoming up for sale by 31 October 2010
1. I want a house by end 2012
6. I want to be the best wife and mum I can be without losing any sense of self IYSWIM from tomorrow
2. I want a full driving licence by end 2011
7. I want to be properly fluent in my languages again and learn some mandarin by end 2011
8. I want to do creative things starting next week
9. I want a vegetable garden in 2013 once I have a house
3. I want to break my FB gaming addiction by 30 Sept 2010
It may seem strange that I put the fit/healthy/attractive first but I am finding that the more I do this the better and stronger I feel for tackling everything else.
Debt is second because once that is gone the house etc should fall into place pretty quickly. I mean we are both fully qualified professionals in managerial positions with the salaries to go with it. Without the debt we would be very comfortable indeed:o26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Oooh it will look lovely Claire and it is great that you are both workjing together to get the end result that you want.
Yes I cannot wait :T It will be lovely to have people admire the house rather than hate people coming here cause of the damp marks, clutter etc, we won't have anymore damp in the kitchen or bathroom now cause the roof has been fixed.
I have to say the kitchen is looking fab!!! cause the ceiling is a lovely white and all clean looking, it has made such a difference.
The one half of the kitchen is nearly finished, just need a second coat of paint on the tiles, the ceiling has been painted and the door frames skirtings etc glossed white.
The other side of the kitchen only needs ceiling painted, window glossed, and door frame and the walls finished painting.Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
You will need to make sure he finishes it this time though Claire. A half finished job can make you feel worse than a job not started.
Luc - You are fit/healthy/attactive already and you are working damn hard to maintain it too. You are inspirational and I love reading what you have achieved each morning (just not enough to get out there and do the same!)
Thanks Elfen, I know I am better off out of the relationship, I suppose I am just jealous because I haven't got anyone and know that I am not likely to either.OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

Thanks so much. I suppose I haven't mentally adjusted to the changes yet and there is still a little pooch I want to get rid of but overall I feel a million times better than I did 8 weeks ago and the PND is so far behind me its like it happened to another person.
As for inspirational - I'd love to think that my new found enthusiasm has rubbed off on people, even if it just means they think a little more about what they want out of life or how they can make themselves feel better. Just let me know when I start boring you all though:o
Didn't go to gym this morning but I have booked a core stability class for tonight and am going to the gym to get an hour of weights and cardio in beforehand:A26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Lovely news Squizz.
I've had a good day with DDs and GSs - walked through Bradgate Park, fed the ducks, saw the deer and played ball. Finished with tea and cake in the sunshine.
Started to clean when I got back - bedroom sorted and bungalow all hoovered. Nearly done all the washing ready for the line tomorrow. :A
Tired now and seem to have caught a cold.0 -
Evening.
I'm waiting for someone to come and pick up my old printer via freegle. It's a step towards decluttering.
Any of you domestic types, do you know if 'cooking' chorizo has to be cooked for a certain length of time? I want to put some on cheese on toast, or in a cheese toasty but I don't know if that'll be ok or if I should fry it first?Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
