The Christmas stockings are selling really well so I decided to make a couple of other things with the left over fabric.

That's lovely! Is it fabric or wallpaper?

They were really horrid hardboard 1960's hollow doors to start with but the frame is very strong. I love that it's real wood. All the built in wardrobe people offer plastic coated MDF.
  • Hi Maysie, that really looks good.

Is it Laura Ashley wallpaper, I am sure my sister has one wall of this in her bedroom?

Love these. I am just getting back into sewing and knitting after many years away from it (recently retired so have more time now). Can I ask where you buy your hessian from? Thanks (just had a brows around your shop - gorgeous!)

Yes its Laura Ashley summer palace wallpaper in duck egg blue. I know its more a bedroom wallpaper but i have it on 1 wall in my kitchen. I love it its so uplifting and pretty. I have lots of bits leftover as its one of those ones with a long repeat factor. I get lots of comments on how pretty it is......usually from people who saw the horrendous purple shade i used to have the kitchen painted lol.
