Februarycat, here's a list of stockists. Looks interesting but I haven't seen it although will probably buy when I do see it.

Thanks TiddlyPom, only one shop in my town and that's at the opposite end to where I live. It sounds quite good but would like to look at the mag first before I got it as sometimes they don't have much in them and you are paying £4 plus.0 -

That's a fantastic idea!!!
I wish I had a drawer availae. It would free up some work top space!
Would never have thought of that!
hi i dont like clutter or any sort it drives me mad my kitchen base units are made up of very big draws in sets of three.
I even keep my plates and bowls in one, pans in another, baking stuff in another and things like bread machine in the corner cupboards.
the only things that are out permanent are the toaster and kettle on one side and on the other i have my ninja, a steamer and a small slow cooker. everything else has a draw or cupboard:)0 -
I have changed around my dining room, and now have 2 billy bookcases along the long wall, the door into the kitchen isn't flush with the wall and you could fit another bookcase just about behind it. This corner is really wasted and just hides the sewing machine. Would it look silly to have three bookcases in a row but one behind the door?
One friend it might look like a library, however, if I get another book case there is no flexibility to change it back. (This friend doesn't do books ).0 -

Worse things to look like than a library! :rotfl:
BTW I think it was you I told about the 60s kitchen cabinet? OH fought his way into the shed, but found it had gone - must have been on a very early try to declutter!Sorry about that Meames.

It was me!no problems, but thank you for thinking of me. I am on the look out still but nothing has been a) in my price range or b) small enough. If only all crime books had white covers it woul look a lot brighter and if books were all the same size! It was like a jigsaw puzzle getting them all to fit back on again!

More street finds for meames! The people a couple of boors up are throwing away their garden furniture, they had those round benches to go around the table. Perfect plant stands! Going to paint them to match my pink shed (paint was reduced to £5 for 2 litres at B&M).0

I have just had my first go on a sewing machine as an adult. Though I would try my hand at making a simple needle case first before launching into quilting. In my usual running before I can walk, I tried to applique a small flower onto the front and found it very hard to get the machine to co-operate on curves. Is this the sort of thing that a walking foot is for?0

I would go for the bookcase. You can always leave artistic gaps or stick a plant among the books, which is more possible with 3 than 2 book cases. I have a wall to wall bookcase type affair made of 4 Ikea units, the last one goes in to an alcove beside the chimney breast, I wanted it like that to make a narrow room look wider.
Some people cover their books or even chalk paint them to make the colours harmonious.

Hi all - can anyone advise me on spray paint? I have a few projects which would benefit from spray paint, but it is quite expensive. Has anyone found it cheap anywhere? i tried the wilkinsons one, but not as food as some of the more expensive ranges.
