I would be full of pride if I could do those cute flowers to embellish the spread with!!!
Edit:
I have just found the most easy tutorial on YouTube! I am definitely hunting some yarn and a hook tomorrow. Hopefully by this time tomorrow, I will have completed a simple dish cloth to ease me into it!!!!!
Whoop whoop whoop!!!!! :j

What an awesome blog!!!!!!
I love her bedspread. So retro and colourful. It wouldn't go in my bedroom but would look fantastic on the kids bed. One day! One day!
I'd love to get the mastery of it. Her little crocheted flowers are beautiful. I can't wait til later!!!! I'm hoping Wilkinsons will sell the stuff I need. It's quite local.
Chalky, I hope you don't get flooded! What a windfall: finding a skip full of craft papers! I have dumpster diving envy!!!!!:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Hi craigywv
How exciting! I can't wait to see your projects. :j
I'm loving it. It opens up a whole new area of old style possibilities. Very good on the pocket, environment and eye!
I must admit, it's so nice to be back on the old style board again:T

I can't wait to go out to get my stuff! I'm just making the kids a hot chocolate (with warm milk and a whole bar of fun carre Lidl chocolate) and some biscuits (cookie dough was made a while back, rolled into sausages and frozen ready to slice and bake).
When they've had their elevenses, I'm off!!!

Can I please share this here?
I learnt how to basic crochet this afternoon. I'm thrilled with it even though I've dropped a few stitches or my tension has fluctuated (its wider slightly in places)
I'm thrilled to bits!!!!!
Before you know it, I'll be doing flowers!!!!! I do hope so anyway.
I was gonna do dish cloths to practice on but decided to do a thin strip so that I could maybe turn it into an ear warmer/headband kind of thing.
Do you need to sew the ends together or can they be somehow crocheted together?:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

I did it!!!! I have a huge headache but I managed to do a flower!!!! I crocheted the strip together which was super easy and attached the flower over the seam.
I absolutely love it!!!!:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A
