Bebs, I agree with Bibbity, it would just be horrid, give it to me and I will make use of it :)
Seriously I agree white or definitely dimity would be lovely. I think your bedroom is going to look lovely by the sounds of it. Can we have pictures when it is all done?
Bibbity, I am so jealous I love that paper. I used that in my last house (1930 semi much like yours) just before I unexpectedly sold it. Gosh I miss that house. I am not used to being a new house surrounded with new stuff. I am itching now for a cottage.

Thank you, I am just so excited to get started!! The lovely guy I bought it from on eBay is actually delivering it for me (for free) as he is in the area. I am soooo happy, will go to B&Q this weekend and I will definitely post a photo when it's done!
  • Lovely work lajoni!

Oi cherisong, hands off, I got there first (well, second, but who's counting...) :D definitely agree we need photos please Bebs!

Do you have any photos of the wallpaper in your old house hun? Would love to see it in situ.

I'm also seriously tempted by the Constellation mirror...I've been eyeing it up for a couple of years now and an extortionate amount of freelance work has just paid up...do I treat myself or not?! It seems such a silly price to pay for a mirror (I've been spoiled with car boots and ebay I think!!), but it will be an amazing statement and will travel with me to all future houses. Look how lovely it looks against the wallpaper *sigh*

Sorry Bibbitty no photos. Love that mirror and they had it on sale in my local shop the other month. i would go for it, it is an investment and if you have a commission you can always look back on it in the future.

That mirror is lovely! How much is it? It's the sort of thing I'm looking for for my newly decorated back room!

  • Yeah, that's the one fluffybunny! Down to a mere £150...:p

I could do three months worth of food shops with that money! going to think on it for a while...OH says if I've loved it that long I should treat myself, and I did work my bum off this Summer, I just hardly spend money on non-essentials these days (so very MSE) :money:
