Oh goody. I came back to have another look at your lovely office and wondered where the post had gone.
It's fab, I am very jealous. :T0 -
I've just posted this on the grabbit board, thought it might interest some of you.
' Cath Kidston has just brought out some cute shopping bags, much cheaper than her usual bags. They are available on her website and instore too I should imagine, but you can also buy them from Asos for free p&p.
This red and blue spot one is just £5.

This comes in two designs, Red Rose or Chicken Feed and is just £6.

I find furniture withstands her very well - as long as chalk paint is waxed it's easily wipe clean. I'm lucky that she doesn't scratch furniture (except my Laura Ashley sofa, little swine ) but jumping on things doesn't seem to mark them.
Ahh the sacrificial sofa, we have one of those too.
I suspect with the amount of wiping I have to do I may have to go with semi gloss paint.:( Thanks for that emma kate.:)
Bibitty I love your office. Does your kitty play with the 'rug'. Fantastic idea by the way.Put the kettle on.0 -

OH MY GOODNESS!!!
That is a beautiful room Bibbitybob, i am very jealous!!
Was just popping on to ask for some guidance regarding my `office` space - well hardly an office:rotfl:
I have a space under my stairs! No spare room for an office so i was thinking of using this space BUT am struggling to find a computer desk (shabby chic of course!).
My pc has a hard drive tower so would need space for that aswell as the keyboard drawer which is proving very difficult, all the desks i find are for the new pcs which have no towers thus having no space for the tower
Everything i see is far too modern and just wouldnt suit the room/house which is all white and shabby.
Here is the space under the stairs to give you an idea, all advice would be very gratefully received.DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

What about something like this, suitably shabbied, if the size is right?'Yaze whit yeh hive an ye'll niver wahnt'
