Any chance of a photo?
As to the green felt inside the drawers, is it in all of them? It's to nestle your silverware in cosily. If it's in sections so that you can put in knives, forks, spoons in different ones, why not keep? Or if you're not fussed on the green, change it to a different coloured felt. It'll just be glued on I guess, though how easy to get it off I'm not sure. Well done on the bargain buy anyway :T , looking forward to seeing photos of it, both before and after!

I bought this! Husband has made a wide shelf for it to stand on and fixed it all to the wall. Have primed it and it looks nicer already.
It was £17 on ebay which is a bit dear for me, but it was a very local pick up and it fitted in to my little Micra0 -

Does this link work? Im on my phone so it might not. I'm thinking of painting it with Laura Ashley creamware.
Mind you i need to wait until i finish stripping the paint from thebedroom window frame. Who on earth paints vents shut?? So much condensation due to lack of vetilation that the paint is literally peeling off in places!! Will use my heat gun and get the rest off then danish oil the frames. The. I can get on with my dresser, coffee table and cupboard.
ETA my LO has decided that the dresser is his new home!!0 -

not being one to finish something before I start something else... I bought this on fleabay and have started to paint it green ( Willow/sea spray/ depression green depending where you look) with some melamine paint i got in 99p stores(or was it £land?)
I think it may be useful for storing small tins or paint & crafty things in.0 -
I am in desperate need of help
I bought Farrow & Ball dimity as lots on here recommended it. I bought three or four tubs as I was going to do a dresser I got on freecycle and if that turned out okay I was then going to do my kitchen units
I wasnt really concentrating at the time as I had my enthusiastic toddler. I bought them about a year ago, put them away but last week I realised that some paint goes off so I thought I had better pull my finger out.
Ok...I bought Farrow & Ball dimity silk emulsion. Ive only just realised that I might have bought the wrong paint. Right colour but wrong type? Should I have bought matt? has anyone used silk?
I've also got the primer that a few have recommended from B&Q and the F&B would go on top. I also got a varnish to go on top of that lol but I'm worried about the F&B
Please...any help would be greatly appreciated.0
